Life has been hard lately. Yesterday was Tarryn's birthday, which was fun. He ended up coming over and we had dinner with my family. It was weird because I think it's the first time in a long time that we've all sat down together at the table. For some reason that makes me kind of sad. Maybe I'm just too sentimental. School is becoming a bit of a burden, since it's been non-stop. I'm finding it harder to see the point in all of it more so now lately than ever, honestly. I miss my friends and my free time and not feeling guilty about sitting down for ten minutes to do nothing.
Tomorrow I am going to New Zealand. It is a bit scary. I am not looking forward to flying. Though, I am excited about going to Wellington and Palmerston since I haven't been there before. My dad said that he could drive us to the airport and I asked my mum and she wasn't keen at all. It made me really sad. I hope that he comes anyway.
Work, work, work. I'm nervous about the Biology exam because today we had a quiz and I didn't know as much as I'd hoped or worked towards. There is definitely a light now. It is both daunting and exciting. Right now though, I just want it to be over so badly. The formal seemed really exciting before but now I'm not that excited. I haven't got anyone to sit with and I have no date and no way to get there and no outfit. Hopefully, everything will turn out alright.
I got my hair done tonight. I'm glad. My hairdresser is very cool. Also, we had pizza and it was yum.
Um. I think that's it.

Year 12 New Zealand Ski Trip, Group 3.
Going to New Zealand was a fucking blast. It was so awesome. Probably the best trip I have been on so far. I'm pretty convinced we had the best group of people as well. It was so beautiful. I miss it already. |

I ended up resolving it as an installation/textile sculpture/series of photographs. There are definitely better photos but there are just so many that I can never decide which are the good ones anyway. I hope I get a good mark for it but you never know. Art is a bit bs. |

Friday night was really good. I was so exhausted by the time I went over Tarryn's house, but that's alright. We made dinner together at his house out of stuff we found. It actually turned out really nice. Then we got icecream and hung out and listened to music and lay about. Everything is a bit better. When I got home I was so tired that I fell asleep straight away. Today I had to work which was alright considering I didn't have any plans or anything anyway. It was pretty good because all the nice people were working today. It was only bad because they kept asking me about New Zealand and everything and it was just making me feel really sad. I still have no plans so I think I'm going to go to the movies. Everyone is probably busy so I'll just end up going by myself. It is a bit pathetic but I'd rather do something than sit around.
Anyway! Will post photos later perhaps.

I am excited about tomorrow, for no reason in particular. This week has been pretty hectic, and I have so much shit to do. Especially tomorrow. At least tonight I got my hair done. Now I look a little less like a hag.

I'm a bit sad. My computer died. Temporary glitch, hopefully. Which is the reason for lack of bad camp photos. (Camp was awesome fun by the way!) Dead computer also means no music or using my camera at all. Which sucks. I was hoping for some super camera/ruby loving time. But I guess that is now postponed.
Andrea's is tonight and it is looking good to be going. Jess will hopefully make a cameo appearance. I'm feeling very happy. The weather imaking me excited. Today is great.

Had a pretty decent day. Things have been pretty sweet lately. It's nice to feel like you're heading in some sort of direction and to have things to look forward to. I am excited about camp.
Tonight I made spontaneous plans with Jess to go to the movies and hang out. We went and saw 'Hey Hey it's Esther Blueburger!' and it was a cute movie. I really liked it. It was a lot of fun hanging out with you, Jess. We also saw Jhindu, Charles and Alannah. And got cones from Maccas. : ) I'm a bit disappointed Tarryn can't come to Jess's but I'm looking forward to that a lot. It should be fun anyway.
Anyway, we also took photos.
Best thing coming. It's the road that leads out of here.

Today I donated blood. It was okay. The ladies were all very nice. I'm glad for the experience.
Tarryn and I got sushi. And my mum hugged me.
I feel a bit better now.
and I'm listening to bands I've neglected for too long.
